Androgyny mania

After being intrigued and captured by the beauty of Andrej Pejic i looked at other androgynous models and came across James Varley a 22 year old from Melbourne, Australia.

You go......BOY!

This head turning jaw droppingly beautiful Serbian Australian model is Andrej Pejic, the 19 year old from Bosnia-Herzegovina ( learnt that when attempting to do the 47 countries of Europe on Sporkle). He has become a fashion sensation since last June when the whole fashion industry asked "who's the blonde girl?" He has since emerged as a poster boy for fashion androgyny. Pejic has worked for names such as Jean Pau Gaultier, Marc Jacobs, Gucci, various magazines such as Vogue (italia/paris/turkey) as well as capturing the eye of fashion photographers Steven Meisel, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Here are a few of his shots from the BMM magazine spring/summer shoot amongst others as well as one of Pejic parading a dress later worn by Rihanna off the Jean Paul Gaultier s/s 11 catwalk show.

After a friend bough it to my attention i researched into the phographer Sofia Ajram, whose the brains behind the dreamy photo i used for my title, of the floating girl surrounded by a magical star like effect. here are a few more of her photoes.

What a babe!

There has been a lack of commitment to this blog recently due to being stressed out and pre-occupied with working towards passing my degree. I have spent the past month frantically knitting away, and sticking parts of my body together with excessive use of spray-mount, as well as dyeing my clothes while screen-printing! thus wearing myself out to leave a mere shadow of my former self. However you'll all be glad to know i'm totally recovered from my over dramatised tale! 

Here i want to share with you a few sample shots of my visualisation of my final products for my final year project. Scarves all hand made my yours truly and my beautiful model Natalie Parnell.
